The sheikh was said to have been arrested yesterday morning ,while preaching ,most of the youth who were his mardassa student followed the sheik and the police officers to the stations.But were said to have been drove out.
After been drove about ,the youth took to the street to vandalize public property belonging to KCB bank they also stormed into a church destroying chairs,breaking windowswindows beating and also injuring guards at the church .The police later engaged in a battle with the mardassa students to wade them off.One of the protesters was said to have harrased a journalist and allegedly destroying his camera
Residents said protests would continue until sheik is freed from police custody.
It was also said that the sheik was arrested by the anti terror police in 2014 and later rearrested early 2015 in marsab
