Cross River State breaks Nigeria's budget history; hits a N1trillion naira

Governor Ben ayade of cross river state,presented a budget of 1.3trillion naira to the cross river house of assembly for deliberation and passage

The budget has been said to be the largest for a single state in Nigeria history.

Lagos State held a budget of N820billon as of 2017.the state has hinted it budget for 2018 may hit a trillion naira.

The governor also said the budget was meant for a deep sea port and super highway, two marked projects. He budgeted 2billon for school feeding programme,also N52billion for social welfare of the aged in the state

7billon was also budgeted for training of unemployed youths in the state with marketable job skills.

The government also stated that the garment factory would have it workers increased From 1,000 to 3,000

Mr ayade who tagged the budget as 'BUDGET OF KINETIC CRYSTALLIZATION' it was meant to crystalize what the state had achieved over the years.
